August 28, 2025: Montgomery, MN Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] Titans (Montgomery, MN) and the visiting Worthington Trojans (Worthington, MN), saw Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center]'s soccer squad triumph over Worthington by a count of 6-0.
The Titans (2-0) will now prepare for their match against St. Peter (St. Peter, MN). The Saints come into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, St. Peter nipped Marshall (Marshall, MN), 5-3, in a league match.
The Trojans now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marshall for a Class A Section 2 match on Tuesday, September 2. Worthington will meet a Tigers team coming off a 5-3 league loss to St. Peter (St. Peter, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 0-4.
