In their next game, the Cougars face the Menard Yellowjackets (Menard, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Canyon will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record.
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cedar Creek (Cedar Creek, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Cedar Creek was overwhelmed by Del Valle (Del Valle, TX), 22-2, in a non-league test.
