August 28, 2025: Sanford, NC 27330 The Apex Friendship Patriots were victorious over the host Lee County Yellow Jackets football team by a score of 30-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Patriots face the Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Apex Friendship will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 7-6 non-league win over South Garner (Garner, NC).
The Yellow Jackets (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Overhills (Spring Lake, NC). The Jaguars enter the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Overhills ran past Harnett Central (Angier, NC), 18-16, in a non-league challenge.
