North Carolina High School Football - Bunker Hill loses to St. Stephens
August 28, 2025: Claremont, NC 28610 St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC), 26-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, St. Stephens upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Hibriten (Lenoir, NC) to confront the Panthers in a non-league match on Thursday, September 4. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 2-0. Hibriten won 33-20 in their recent non-league match against South Caldwell (Hudson, NC)
Coming up next, the Bears confront the Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 4. Bunker Hill will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Red Tornadoes go into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 26-20 non-league win over Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC).
