August 28, 2025: Mocksville, NC 27028 The Davie County War Eagles football squad scored 41 points and limited the visiting West Rowan Falcons to 0 in the War Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The War Eagles now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Pinecrest for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 4. Davie County will play a Patriots team coming off a 42-20 non-league win over Union Pines (Cameron, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 2-0.
The Falcons (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Walkertown (Walkertown, NC). The Wolfpack go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Walkertown was overwhelmed by Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC), 28-14, in a non-league outing.
