North Carolina High School Football - Wheatmore trounced by Forbush
August 28, 2025: East Bend, NC 27018 Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC), 35-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Forbush advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Falcons travel to Starmount (Boonville, NC) to play the Rams in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 4. The Rams go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Starmount won 22-14 in their recent non-league battle against East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC)
The Warriors now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host South Davidson for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 4. Wheatmore will play a Wildcats team coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
