South Carolina High School Football - Mid-Carolina loses to Newberry
August 28, 2025: Prosperity, SC 29127 Newberry Bulldogs (Newberry, SC) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Mid-Carolina Rebels (Prosperity, SC), 43-13 in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Clinton (Clinton, SC). The Red Devils enter the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Clinton thwarted Laurens (Laurens, SC), 46-0, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Rebels confront the Ninety Six Wildcats (Ninety Six, SC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 4. Mid-Carolina will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 22-12 non-league win over Wagener-Salley (Wagener, SC).
