North Carolina High School Soccer - Central Academy of Technology & Arts toppled by Sun Valley
August 28, 2025: Monroe, NC 28112 Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Central Academy of Technology & Arts Cougars (Monroe, NC), 5-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Sun Valley advances its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Concord (Concord, NC) to play the Spiders in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2. The Spiders go into the outing with a record of 1-2. Concord 0-0 in their recent non-league outing against Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC)
Next up, the Cougars play the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 8. Central Academy of Technology & Arts will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Wolf Pack go into the outing with a 2-2 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Piedmont (Monroe, NC).
