August 28, 2025: Plainfield, IL 60544 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) and the host Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL), saw South Elgin's soccer squad triumph over Plainfield Central by a count of 9-0.
The Storm (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL). The Titans enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Glenbrook South achieved victory over Mundelein (Mundelein, IL), 7-0, in a non-league match.
The Wildcats now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Batavia for a non-league match on Saturday, August 30.
