North Carolina High School Soccer - Albemarle toppled by Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association
August 28, 2025: Albemarle, NC 28001 Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association Stallions (Concord, NC) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the host Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC), 9-0 in a non-league outing.
The Stallions (5-0) will now prepare for their outing against Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC). The Lions go into the non-league outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Hickory Grove Christian was overwhelmed by Gaston Christian (Gastonia, NC), 9-2, in a league outing.
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the The Math and Science Academy of Charlotte - Concord Campus Lions (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 8. Albemarle will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record.
