The Owls now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Redwood Christian for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 3. Athenian will face a Eagles team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Drew (San Francisco, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
The Cougars (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Oakland Military Institute (Oakland, CA). The Grizzlies come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Oakland Military Institute edged Brave Christian (Dublin, CA), 13-0, in a non-league game.
