North Carolina High School Soccer - Sun Valley nudges Central Academy of Technology & Arts
August 28, 2025: Monroe, NC 28112 In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Sun Valley Spartans soccer squad scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Central Academy of Technology & Arts Cougars.
The Spartans (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Concord (Concord, NC). The Spiders go into the non-league outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Concord was edged by Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC), 5-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Cougars play the Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) in a Rocky River 4A/5A outing, on Wednesday, September 3. Central Academy of Technology & Arts will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Bearcats go into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to North Stanly (New London, NC).
