Indiana High School Soccer - Franklin Community nudges Decatur Central
August 28, 2025: Franklin, IN 46131 In Thursday's league outing, the host Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Decatur Central Hawks.
The Grizzly Cubs (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Jeffersonville (Jeffersonville, IN). The Red Devils come into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Jeffersonville nipped Eastern (Louisville, KY), 3-2, in a non-league test.
The Hawks now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Whiteland for a Mid-State test on Tuesday, September 2. Decatur Central will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Seymour (Seymour, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 2-4.
