New York High School Soccer - Greece Athena knocks off Honeoye Falls-Lima
August 28, 2025: Rochester, NY 14612 In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Greece Athena Trojans soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 win over the Honeoye Falls-Lima Cougars.
The Trojans (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Caledonia-Mumford (Caledonia, NY). The Raiders enter the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Caledonia-Mumford edged Geneseo (Geneseo, NY), 5-0, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pittsford for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. Honeoye Falls-Lima will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Wayne (Ontario Center, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
