Michigan High School Soccer - Lutheran Northwest knocks off Southfield Christian
August 28, 2025: Southfield, MI 48034 In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Lutheran Northwest Crusaders soccer squad scored a tight 6-2 victory over the Southfield Christian Eagles.
The Crusaders (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Shrine Catholic (Royal Oak, MI). The Knights go into the non-league outing with a 6-1 record. In their last test, Shrine Catholic edged Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit (West Bloomfield, MI), 8-0, in a league test.
The Eagles now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Novi Christian Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. Southfield Christian will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over FAITH HomeSchool (Lapeer, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.
