The New Bern Bears soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting West Carteret Patriots to 1 in the Bears non-league victory on Thursday.

The Bears now have a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Lenoir for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 2. New Bern will face a Hawks team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to James Kenan (Warsaw, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 2-4.
