Alva Goldbugs (Alva, OK) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Medford Cardinals (Medford, OK), 12-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Alva improves its record to 12-5 on the year. The Goldbugs travel to Chisholm (Enid, OK) to play the Longhorns in a non-league game on Friday, August 29. The Longhorns enter the game with a record of 1-7. Chisholm lost 11-1 in their recent league match against Perry (Perry, OK)
