The Rush Springs Redskins softball team scored 12 runs and held the host Cache Bulldogs to 6 in the Redskins non-league win on Thursday.

Next, the Redskins meet the Empire Bulldogs (Duncan, OK) in a Class A outing, on Monday, September 1. Rush Springs will attempt to move on its 13-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a 0-1 record after their 12-9 non-league loss to Minco (Minco, OK).

With the loss, Cache drops to 10-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Chickasha (Chickasha, OK) to meet the Fighting Chicks in a 4A District 2 test on Tuesday, September 2.
