South Dakota High School Volleyball - St. Mary over Alcester-Hudson
August 28, 2025: Dell Rapids, SD 57022 In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host St. Mary Cardinals volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Alcester-Hudson Cubs.
The Cardinals (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Oldham-Ramona/Rutland (Ramona, SD). The Rutland come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Oldham-Ramona/Rutland beat Howard (Howard, SD), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cubs meet the Scotland Highlanders (Scotland, SD) in a B Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Alcester-Hudson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Irene/Wakonda (Irene, SD).
