The Alvarado Indians volleyball squad (Alvarado, TX), was edged 2-1 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Vanguard College Prep Vikings (Waco, TX)

With the win, Vanguard College Prep improves its record to 2-5 on the season. The Vikings travel to Valor Preparatory Academy (Waco, TX) to encounter the Knights in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 30. The Knights enter the contest with a record of 15-7. Valor Preparatory Academy won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Providence Prep (Belton, TX)
