The Knights now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Clinton for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 28. Assumption will clash with a River Kings team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to North Scott (Eldridge, IA). The River Kings record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Western Dubuque drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Kennedy (Cedar Rapids, IA) to confront the Cougars in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 2.
