August 28, 2025: Cayuga, TX 75681 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Blooming Grove Lions (Blooming Grove, TX) and the host Cayuga Wildcats (Cayuga, TX), observed Blooming Grove's volleyball team top Cayuga by a count of 2-0.
The Lions (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Buffalo (Buffalo, TX). The Bison go into the non-league battle with a 13-4 record. In their last battle, Buffalo dropped by Navasota (Navasota, TX), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
The Wildcats now own a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westwood for a non-league battle on Friday, August 29. Cayuga will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Brook Hill (Bullard, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 7-10.
