In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Millbrook Pioneers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Broad Run Spartans.

The Pioneers (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA). The Tigers go into the Northwestern test with a 2-0 record.

The Spartans now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2.
