Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Browne Bruins (Phoenix, AZ), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Hamilton (Chandler, AZ). The Huskies come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Hamilton beat Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bruins play the La Joya Community Fighting Lobos (Avondale, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Browne will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Fighting Lobos come into the outing with a 1-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Agua Fria (Avondale, AZ).
