Buckhorn Bucks (New Market, AL) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Central Wildcats (Florence, AL), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Buckhorn improves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Bucks travel to Lauderdale County (Rogersville, AL) to face the Tigers in a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 6-2. Lauderdale County won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL)

The Wildcats now own a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Madison County for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 29. Central will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to St. John Paul II (Huntsville, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 9-2.
