In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Cape Hatteras Hurricanes volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Eastern Christian HomeSchool Trailblazers.

The Hurricanes (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Manteo (Manteo, NC). The Redskins go into the non-league test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, Manteo gained a win over Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech (Elizabeth City, NC), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Trailblazers now sport a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mattamuskeet for a non-league test on Friday, August 29.
