August 28, 2025: Carlsbad, CA 92008 Carlsbad Lancers (Carlsbad, CA) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting La Jolla Vikings (La Jolla, CA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Carlsbad advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Lancers travel to Pacific Ridge (Carlsbad, CA) to face the Firebirds in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 3. The Firebirds go into the test with a record of 6-5. Pacific Ridge lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against San Marcos (San Marcos, CA)
The Vikings now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Costa Canyon for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. La Jolla will face a Mavericks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hilltop (Chula Vista, CA). The Mavericks record now stands at 4-6.
