Alabama High School Volleyball - Chilton County edged by Jemison
August 28, 2025: Clanton, AL 35045 Jemison Panthers (Jemison, AL) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Chilton County Tigers (Clanton, AL), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Jemison improves its record to 8-0 on the season. The Panthers host Selma (Selma, AL) to face the Saints in a 5A Area 5 test on Tuesday, September 2. The Saints go into the test with a record of 1-0. Selma won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Dallas County (Plantersville, AL)
The Tigers now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elmore County for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Chilton County will face a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Horseshoe Bend (New Site, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 2-2.
