Jacksboro Tigers (Jacksboro, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Connally Cadets (Waco, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Jacksboro improves its record to 11-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Hico (Hico, TX) to face the Tigers in a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 4-1. Hico won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Rio Vista (Rio Vista, TX)

The Cadets now own a 5-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Central Texas Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Connally will face a Pioneers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Southwest Christian School (Fort Worth, TX). The Pioneers record now stands at 7-5.
