The St. John XXIII Lions volleyball squad (Katy, TX), was defeated 2-0 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Dawson Eagles (Pearland, TX)

With the win, Dawson upgrades its record to 17-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Georgetown (Georgetown, TX) to meet the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 28. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 11-7. Georgetown won 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX)
