The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 8-8. Texas won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against White Oak (White Oak, TX)
The Bears now own a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Lamar for a non-league contest on Saturday, August 30. De Kalb will battle a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Madisonville (Madisonville, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 8-4.
