Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the East Union Urchins (Blue Springs, MS) and the visiting Mooreville Troopers (Mooreville, MS), observed East Union's volleyball team top Mooreville by a count of 3-0.

The Urchins (19-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hickory Flat (Hickory Flat, MS). The Rebels go into the non-league battle with a 4-11 record. In their last battle, Hickory Flat dropped by Ingomar (New Albany, MS), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
