Texas High School Volleyball - Snook can't hold off La Vega
August 28, 2025: Waco, TX 76705 The La Vega Pirates held off the visiting Snook Bluejays volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bartlett for a non-league bout on Friday, August 29. La Vega will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Moody (Moody, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Snook drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to Lampasas (Lampasas, TX) to clash with the Badgers in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 30. The Badgers come into the bout with a record of 5-10. Lampasas won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Waco (Waco, TX)
