August 28, 2025: Corpus Christi, TX 78415 London Pirates (Corpus Christi, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Temple Wildcats (Temple, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, London improves its record to 9-2 on the season. The Pirates travel to Klein Cain (Houston, TX) to face the Hurricanes in a non-league test on Friday, August 29. The Hurricanes go into the test with a record of 12-8. Klein Cain lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Klein Oak (Spring, TX)
Next, the Wildcats meet the Fort Bend Bush Broncos (Richmond, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 28. Temple will attempt to upgrade on its 8-14 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Almeta Crawford (Rosharon, TX).
