Georgia High School Volleyball - Savannah tips Memorial Day
August 28, 2025: Savannah, GA 31404 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Savannah Bluejackets (Savannah, GA) and the visiting Memorial Day Matadors (Savannah, GA), observed Savannah's volleyball team hold off Memorial Day by a count of 3-2.
With the win, Savannah improves its record to 3-6 on the season. The Bluejackets travel to Brantley County (Nahunta, GA) to encounter the Herons in a 1A Area 3 battle on Thursday, September 4. The Herons go into the battle with a record of 8-13.
Next, the Matadors meet the Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes (Pembroke, GA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 9. Memorial Day will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
