August 28, 2025: Mexia, TX 76667 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Odessa Bronchos (Odessa, TX) and the host Mexia Black Cats (Mexia, TX), observed Odessa's volleyball team top Mexia by a count of 3-0.
The Bronchos (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against China Spring (China Spring, TX). The Cougars enter the non-league battle with a 12-9 record. In their last battle, China Spring achieved victory over Mexia (Mexia, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Black Cats meet the Rice Bulldogs (Rice, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Mexia will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Blooming Grove (Blooming Grove, TX).
