Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Piedmont Wildcats (Piedmont, OK) and the visiting Norman North Timberwolves (Norman, OK), observed Piedmont's volleyball team hold off Norman North by a count of 3-2.

The Wildcats (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Choctaw (Choctaw, OK). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Choctaw tipped Carl Albert (Midwest City, OK), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
