Match Summary
The Varsity match was a bit lopsided, at least at first. We were a bit "deer in the headlights" to start, as we faced the Lady Braves' flagship team. We had to defend against significantly stronger serving and hitting than in the JV match. Our girls did adjust, and we managed to make each match closer than the last, putting up 20 points in our final set, even after giving up a 9 point serving run to the Lady Braves early on! Facing up to this strong team was a great experience for our players, in learning to face adversity, stay together and stay strong, knowing that we will improve through embracing a matchup like this. I'm particularly proud of our 89% serving in this match!
