Georgia High School Softball - Mt. Zion bounces Landmark Christian
August 29, 2022: Mt. Zion, GA 30117 The Mt. Zion Eagles (Mt. Zion, GA) softball routed the visiting Landmark Christian War Eagles (Fairburn, GA), 15-6 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Eagles (4-4) will now prepare for their bout against Temple (Temple, GA). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 2-8 record. In their last bout, Temple beat Douglas County (Douglasville, GA), 13-2, in a non-league challenge.
With the loss, Landmark Christian falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The War eagles travel to McNair (Atlanta, GA) to battle the Mustangs in a 2A Region 5 challenge on Thursday, September 1. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. McNair lost 14-0 in their recent league challenge against Eagle's Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, GA)
