Georgia High School Volleyball - Griffin tips Banneker
August 29, 2022: Griffin, GA 30224 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA) and the visiting Banneker Trojans (College Park, GA), saw Griffin's volleyball squad nip Banneker by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Griffin upgrades its record to 3-6 on the year. The Bears travel to Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 1. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-4.
The Trojans now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Douglass for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 30. Banneker will play a Astros squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Coretta Scott King YWLA (Atlanta, GA). The Astros record now stands at 0-1.
