August 29, 2022: Hattiesburg, MS 39401 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Sacred Heart Crusaders (Hattiesburg, MS) and the visiting Perry Central Bulldogs (New Augusta, MS), saw Sacred Heart's volleyball squad beat Perry Central by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Sacred Heart upgrades its record to 9-1 on the year. The Crusaders host South Jones (Ellisville, MS) to play the Braves in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 1. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 8-3. South Jones won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Raleigh (Raleigh, MS)
The Bulldogs now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Our Lady Academy for a Class 1 Region 8 bout on Tuesday, August 30. Perry Central will play a Crescents squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Vancleave (Vancleave, MS). The Crescents record now stands at 6-9.
