August 29, 2023: Oneida, TN 37841 Oneida Indians (Oneida, TN) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Cumberland County Jets (Crossville, TN), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Indians confront the Oliver Springs Bobcats (Oliver Springs, TN) in a A District 3 challenge, on Thursday, August 31. Oneida will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Maryville Christian (Maryville, TN).
The Jets now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Anderson County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 31. Cumberland County will confront a Mavericks team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Webb (Knoxville, TN). The Mavericks record now stands at 4-2.
