Georgia High School Volleyball - Putnam County over Westside
August 29, 2023: Augusta, GA 30907 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Putnam County War Eagles (Eatonton, GA) and the host Westside Patriots (Augusta, GA), saw Putnam County's volleyball squad beat Westside by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Putnam County upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The War Eagles host Piedmont Academy (Monticello, GA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
The Patriots now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Davidson Fine Arts for a bout on Thursday, August 31. Westside will play a Titans squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Putnam County (Eatonton, GA). The Titans record now stands at 4-4.
