August 29, 2023: David City, NE 68632 The Aquinas Monarchs softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Schuyler Warriors to 0 in the Monarchs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Aquinas moves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Monarchs host Kearney Catholic (Kearney, NE) to play the Stars in a non-league game on Thursday, August 31. The Stars come into the game with a record of 5-0. Kearney Catholic won 17-6 in their recent non-league game against Lexington (Lexington, NE)
In their next game, the Warriors play the Crete Cardinals (Crete, NE) in a B District game, on Thursday, September 7. Schuyler will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
