Oklahoma High School Softball - Wilson bounces Waurika
August 29, 2023: Wilson, OK 73463 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Wilson Eagles (Wilson, OK) and the visiting Waurika Eagles (Waurika, OK), witnessed Wilson's softball squad prevail over Waurika by a count of 15-5.
The Eagles now sport a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Wayne for a non-league match on Thursday, August 31. Wilson will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Fletcher (Fletcher, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-12.
With the loss, Waurika moves to 6-16 on the season. The Eagles travel to Chattanooga (Chattanooga, OK) to face the Warriors in a Class A match on Thursday, August 31. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 17-7. Chattanooga won 8-5 in their recent league match against Okarche (Okarche, OK)
