August 29, 2023: Oak Park, CA 91377 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Oak Park Eagles (Oak Park, CA) and the visiting Foothill Tech Dragons (Ventura, CA), saw Oak Park's volleyball squad beat Foothill Tech by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Oak Park upgrades its record to 5-3 on the year. The Eagles host Notre Dame (SO) (Sherman Oaks, CA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 30. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Notre Dame (SO) won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Oakwood (North Hollywood, CA)
The Dragons now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Laguna Blanca for a Tri-Valley bout on Thursday, August 31. Foothill Tech will play a Owls squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over St. Joseph (Santa Maria, CA). The Owls record now stands at 4-4.
