August 29, 2023: Premont, TX 78375 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the George West Longhorns (George West, TX) and the host Premont Cowboys (Premont, TX), saw George West's volleyball squad beat Premont by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, George West upgrades its record to 10-5 on the year. The Longhorns host Bishop (Bishop, TX) to play the Badgers in a non-league bout on Friday, September 1. The Badgers go into the bout with a record of 4-11. Bishop lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against St. Joseph (Victoria, TX)
The Cowboys now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Maria for a 2A Region IV District 32 bout on Friday, September 15.
