August 29, 2023: Griswold, IA 51535 Griswold Tigers (Griswold, IA) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Nodaway Valley Wolverines (Greenfield, IA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Fremont-Mills Knights (Tabor, IA) in a Corner match, on Thursday, August 31. Griswold will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Knights come into the match with a 0-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Lourdes Central Catholic (Nebraska City, NE).
With the loss, Nodaway Valley drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA) to clash with the Warhawks in a Pride of Iowa match on Thursday, August 31. The Warhawks come into the match with a record of 0-6. Southeast Warren lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Ankeny Christian Academy (Ankeny, IA)
