August 29, 2023: Hankinson, ND 58041 Hankinson Pirates (Hankinson, ND) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Tiospa Zina Wambdi (Agency Village, SD), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Pirates battle the Lisbon Broncos (Lisbon, ND) in a B - Region 1 match, on Thursday, August 31. Hankinson will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Broncos come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Oakes (Oakes, ND).
With the loss, Tiospa Zina drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Wambdi host Roncalli (Aberdeen, SD) to battle the Cavaliers in a A Region 1 match on Thursday, August 31. The Cavaliers come into the match with a record of 2-1. Roncalli won 3-2 in their recent league match against Miller (Miller, SD)
