Minnesota High School Volleyball - Orono nudged by Maranatha Christian Academy
August 29, 2023: Brooklyn Park, MN 55428 The Maranatha Christian Academy Mustangs volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Orono Spartans to 2 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockford for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 5. Maranatha Christian Academy will meet a Rockets team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Holdingford (Holdingford, MN). The Rockets record now stands at 1-1.
The Spartans (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Delano (Delano, MN). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Delano nipped Watertown-Mayer (Watertown, MN), 3-0, in a non-league game.
